The three clubs with 100 per cent records will look to extend their excellent starts to the season when Briton Ferry Llansawel, Afan Lido and Ammanford feature in the JD Cymru South this weekend.
Leaders Briton Ferry are away to Taffs Well on Friday night with the visitors looking for a third straight win.
A 2-0 win over Llanelli Town, backed up by a 5-0 thrashing of Trefelin BGC unveiled the Ferry’s title credentials, although the trip to the Wellmen will be their first away fixture.
Joseph Jones, Josh Bull and Aaron Jones all moved to Old Road over the summer and the goal power of Briton Ferry looks impressive.
Afan Lido have also begun with back-to-back victories, but face a tricky Friday night trip to Abergavenny Town.
Lido have started with a convincing 3-0 at home to Abertillery Bluebirds, followed by a 3-1 win in front of their own fans against Caerau Ely.
But this, too, will be their first away game and although Abergavenny were hammered 4-0 at Caerau in their opener, they were under-strength, and gave a better account of themselves in a 1-0 defeat at home to Llantwit Major.
Goytre United host Trefelin on Friday night, but the only other team with six points from two games – Ammanford – play on Saturday, when they are away at Caerau.
Ammanford were one of only two sides to defeat champions Barry Town United in the league last term, and Gruff Harrison’s troops have done some smart business, adding Craig Davies, Tristan Jenkins, Harry Huddart, Leon Luby, Adam John, Adam Orme, Jack Lansdown and Nic Arnold to their ranks.
So far, Ammanford have beaten Taffs Well and Abertillery Bluebirds, but only by the odd goal on both occasions.
Newly-promoted Baglan Dragons are away at Llantwit Major, with the Dragons so far making a good first of things in the higher division.
They beat Pontardawe Town 2-1 in their opener and drew 0-0 at Carmarthen Town to remain unbeaten with four points.
The Dragons recruited Tom Davies, Levi Waters, Corey Green, Leroy Croucher and Owen Williams over the summer period.
Abertillery Bluebirds host Cambrian & Clydach, with the Bluebirds searching for their first points after two defeats.
Cwmbran Celtic host Carmarthen Town in an east v west battle with Cwmbran looking to build on their opening day win over Goytre.
Pontardawe – another who have only played one game (that defeat to Baglan) – are at home to Llanelli Town who have started with one win and one defeat.
