Revitalised Llandudno’s fine unbeaten run began at the start of last month with a 3-2 home win over Prestatyn Town.
Since then the early season strugglers have lifted themselves out of the bottom five and on Friday night the Seasiders will be aiming to make lightning strike twice when they travel to Bastion Gardens for the return.
There is a real feelgood factor surrounding Llandudno at present.
They recently returned to home ground, the OPS Wind Arena, after more than a year’s absence and boss Jordan Hadaway has just been named Cymru North Manager of the Month for November, with Danny Holland scooping the Player of the Month award.
Undefeated in five matches in all competitions, the time looks right for Tudno to take maximum spoils at Bastion, but Prestatyn have slipped into the bottom five and will be determined to turn their patchy form around.
Nonetheless, the omens look good for a Llandudno victory.
Also on Friday, bottom side Chirk AAA might fancy their chances of a minor upset when they visit a Gresford Athletic outfit without a win in five starts.
Still unbeaten in the league, Flint Town United look a sound bet to see off a Porthmadog side currently languishing in mid-table.
Saturday’s match of the day has to be the battle at Deeside Stadium, Connah’s Quay, between undefeated Holywell Town and leaders Airbus UK Broughton.
The fixture has been moved to a neutral ground because Holywell’s Achieve More Stadium pitch has been damaged by a collapsed drain.
Can Airbus capitalise on the Wellmen being temporarily forced out of their home and end Johnny Haseldin’s side’s 11-match unbeaten run in the league this term?
Holywell have also not played a match in five weeks, whereas the Wingmakers have been in regular action and not lost in seven league outings, one of those games a 1-1 home draw with Haseldin’s title hopefuls.
Bangor 1876 will be going all out to take three home points against a Guilsfield side which won 2-1 at Nantporth Stadium in the WBS League Cup back in September.
Just one place and one point separates the two rivals.
Another potential cracker is Mold Alexandra v Denbigh Town. Mold sit fifth and Denbigh fourth.
Alex will be looking to put the record straight after suffering a 3-2 loss at Central Park last month.
Ruthin Town have slipped into the bottom four and badly need a win at home to next-to-basement Llanidloes Town, while Buckley Town will be massively buoyed by last weekend’s Welsh Cup win at Porthmadog when they visit Caersws.

Majorly improved Penycae have a big home test against Dolgellau AA on Saturday, but should be good for at least a point.
Rhos Aelwyd lifted the gloom at Ponciau Park with a great win over Bow Street last weekend and can definitely repeat the dose against Llangollen.
Expect out-of-form Llansantffraid Village to bounce back at bottom team Welshpool, while Llanfair United and Llandrindod Wells has the makings of a draw.

Third place Llangefni Town entertain St Asaph City, flying high in second, in the North West match of the day.
Cefni won 3-1 at Saints just four weeks ago and the confidence gained from that result should stand them in good stead again.
Hawarden Rangers, still without a league win, entertain a Llanrwst United outfit to whom they lost 4-1 at Parc Gwydir six weeks ago.
The Rwsters have lost twice since then, while Rangers were battered 6-1 at Llannefydd in their next game.
Two sides not in the best of nick, but given the fact they sit fourth as opposed to basement boys Hawarden, it should be a Llanrwst win.
CPD Y Felinheli v Saltney Town could be a close one. Felin have lost their last four, while the Bordermen have shown improvement of late, drawing at leaders Rhyl 1879 and winning at Pwllheli. Away win – just.
Nantlle Vale should have the edge at a Pwllheli side they have already defeated twice this season – 4-2 at home in the league and 2-1 away in the League Cup.
