No doubting what is the game of the weekend – and arguably the whole season – in North Wales football.
Leaders Colwyn Bay will put their campaign-long unbeaten record on the line at home to second-place Holywell Town, who have won a remarkable 22 matches in a row.
Bay’s own run of consecutive wins stands at 25, so one of these giants – or maybe both – will experience a mighty 100% streak end on Saturday.
The pair last met in August, when Bay finished up resounding 6-1 winners at the Achieve More Stadium.
Holywell had not found their feet then, but certainly have since.
Saturday’s result at the Four Crosses Construction Arena could have a massive bearing on the title race.
Bay are nine points clear of the Wellmen, who have one game in hand. A win or a draw for the Seagulls will make them hotter favourites to finish champions than they already are.
We envisage a thriller when the Clash of the Titans takes place and believe both teams will avoid defeat. Verdict: 2-2 draw.
Friday night should see a Llandudno team in third place and unbeaten in eight matches victorious over a relegation-threatened Conwy Borough, without a win in 10.
Fifth-place Ruthin Town host Buckley Town, who lie eighth, also on Friday.
Expect Ruthin to gain revenge for a 2-1 loss suffered at Bucks back in August.
Chirk AAA and Llanidloes Town, who lock horns on Saturday at Holyhead Road, are both just above the drop-zone.
The Colliers are performing well, with 10 points taken from a possible last 15, and they only missed out on a League Cup final place on penalties at Porthmadog last weekend.
Andy Pryde’s men should be good enough to outscore the Daffs.
Holyhead Hotspur, bottom and fast approaching the point of no return, host a Cefn Druids outfit whose recent showings have been distinctly below average, but they might just edge it at the New Stadium.
Mold Alexandra v Gresford Athletic, Prestatyn Town v Guilsfield and Porthmadog v Penrhyncoch all have the look of potential draws.

Nine points clear at the summit following a 0-0 home draw with Bow Street on Tuesday evening, Caersws will target a better result when they visit a Penycae side they beat just 2-1 at home last weekend.
Penycae’s form has been erratic all season, their 11th position in the 15-team league being a reflection of that.
Undefeated in eight, Bow Street should take confidence from their midweek 0-0 at Caersws and be too good for Llanrhaeadr, a team nonetheless capable of an upset.
Builth Wells earned a welcome first league win in five attempts last Saturday and that should stand them in good stead at home to third-bottom Llangollen Town.
Cefn Albion need to keep winning to have any chance of hunting down Caersws and they can complete a quick double over a Welshpool team they beat 2-1 away three weeks ago.
Without a league win in 11 games, it is hard to see where Llanfair United could get a victory from at present.
Perhaps Saturday might be their time, as they host a Dolgellau outfit not in the best of nick, but the most likely outcome could be a draw.
Llanuwchllyn have recorded back-to-back 5-0 successes. It will be tougher for them at home to Rhos Aelwyd, where they lost 1-0 last October, but the form book sways Llan’s way in the return.
Bottom side Rhayader Town have what it takes to get a point at home to Llandrindod Wells, who may suffer fallout from last weekend’s heartbreaking FAW Trophy semi-final defeat against Trethomas Bluebirds, who with 10 men recovered from 3-0 behind to win 4-3.

With seven straight league wins behind them, leaders Rhyl 1879 have every right to feel confident when they visit Llangefni Town this Saturday.
One of the Lilywhites’ successes in their recent 100% run includes a 4-0 home triumph against Cefni last month.
Although the Anglesey side are capable of testing the best, there is no reason to bet against another three points for Gareth Thomas’ side. It will be close though.
Bangor 1876 should be too strong at home for Saltney, but Felinheli versus Llay Welfare has an interesting look about it.
After losing 7-0 at Llay in the FAW Amateur Trophy in October, Felin returned to The Ring seven days later and pulled off a shock 1-0 victory in the league.
Euron Davies’ pushed Rhyl hard last weekend before going down 2-1 and should be capable of taking a point off the Welfare.
Flint Mountain will need to be at their best to see off stubborn Brickfield Rangers at the Essity Stadium, draw is the pick for Hawarden Rangers v Llandudno Albion, while in-form Denbigh Town are ones to watch when they visit Nantlle Vale.
Before hosting Saltney in midweek, Denbigh had reached the FAW Trophy final and won seven on the bounce in the league.
You can never really tell what Nantlle will produce, but on top form they can rock the boat.
Rhostyllen still seek that first win of the season. Can they get it at home to Llanrwst?
The Roosters have not won in the league since November – nine games ago – so it could be duck-breaking day for the Wrexham side, but the form guide suggests a draw.
